Croatian president meets with Mongolian counterpart

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic has met with Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj ahead of the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) in Ulaanbaatar, the Office of the Croatian President said in a press release on Thursday.

The two presidents described relations between Croatia and Mongolia as "good and friendly" and concluded that there was room for the further improvement of their cooperation, particularly in the economy, emphasising possibilities in agriculture and cattle breeding.

The talks also focused on the exchange of experience in information technologies, education and tourism. President Elbegdorj informed the Croatian president about the electronic voting system and the modernisation of public administration carried out in Mongolia.
