Croatia: National Security Council convenes

The National Security Council convened in Split on Saturday for a session chaired by President and Armed Forces Supreme Commander Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, at which outgoing Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic spoke about the topics and results of an informal meeting of heads of state and government of 27 European Union member states held in Bratislava on Friday.

The Council discussed data on migrations in order to agree how relevant state institutions will tackle the matter, according to a press release from the president's office.

The Council also confirmed Croatia's commitment to meeting obligations stemming from the conclusions of a NATO summit held in early July and other Allied decisions.
