Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Croatian Parliament Speaker Josip Leko on Thursday, calling for more progress in infrastructure and agricultural cooperation, Xinhua reported.
The meeting came just two days after a high-level economic and trade forum between China and Central and Eastern European countries in east China's Suzhou city, an event which Li said successfully outlined new priorities for bilateral cooperation.
Li said China would contribute to Croatian infrastructure such as the Rijeka port and the railway that links the port with Hungary. He also stressed China would work cooperate with Croatia in agriculture, produce processing, civil aviation and tourism.
The Chinese premier said he also hoped for better exchange between China and Croatia's legislative bodies.
Leko agreed that the forum in Suzhou was successful, adding that he was looking forward to cooperation with China in port, railway and airport projects, tourism and food processing.
