Bridge member says Petrov should be PM

A member of the National Council of the Bridge reformist party, Ruzica Vukovac, said on Wednesday that Bridge leader Bozo Petrov should be the Prime Minister.

"Petrov should be the Prime Minister because he deserves it," Vukovac told reporters during a break in a session of the Bridge National Council.

The session is still under way and statements for the press are expected after it ends.

Before consultations in the President's Office, scheduled for this afternoon, representatives of Bridge and the Patriotic Coalition are to decide on a Prime Minister-designate, otherwise the President will appoint an interim government and call an early election.
