Bridge to meet separately with two coalitions Wednesday

The Bridge party of independent MPs announced on its Facebook account on Tuesday that it would meet with the Patriotic Coalition on Wednesday at 2 pm and at 3 pm with the Croatia Is Growing coalition.

"The Patriotic Coalition has requested an additional meeting concerning Bridge's proposals put forward at yesterday's meeting in the Esplanade (hotel). The meeting will be tomorrow at 2 pm in the HDZ's (Croatian Democratic Union) offices in Sibenik," Bridge said.

"The Croatia Is Growing coalition has requested an additional meeting concerning Bridge's proposals put forward at yesterday's meeting in the Esplanade. The meeting will be tomorrow at 3 pm in Bridge's headquarters (in Zagreb)," Bridge said on its Facebook account.

Prime Minister and Social Democratic Party (SDP) leader Zoran Milanovic said on his Facebook account that the Croatia Is Growing coalition's aim was to continue serving citizens and leading Croatia in a positive direction.

"These negotiations are about responsibility toward the Croatian people and not about positions. The position of the Croatia Is Growing coalition is clear and I underscored that in my recent letter to Bridge. We wish to continue serving our citizens and lead Croatia in a positive direction of growth, order and work. Just like hundreds of thousands of citizens who gave us their trust at the election, we do not want to allow a return to chaos, crisis and disregard for citizens. That is our common duty and obligation," Milanovic said on his Facebook account.
