Bridge: Agreement on six ministries reached in principle

Spokesman for the Bridge reformist party Nikola Grmoja told Hina on Friday that talks with the Patriotic Coalition on the division of seats in the new government would resume on Monday and that at the start of the talks it was agreed in principle that Bridge would be at the helm of six ministries, including the Ministry of the Interior.

Bridge has been demanding six ministries since the start of the talks with the Patriotic Coalition -- the environment protection, justice, agriculture, economy, administration and the interior, Grmoja told Hina.

"This was agreed in principle at the beginning and the talks are proceeding in that direction. I don't know why the media are speculating about some kind of fight for the interior ministry. We agreed in principle and we expect those six ministries," Grmoja stressed.

"We asked for the ministries with the biggest problems which we want to resolve. We did not for example ask for the tourism ministry so that Bridge could have 'the most successful minister'," Grmoja said.
