Average net monthly salary for September at HRK 5,640

The Croatian average net monthly salary for September was HRK 5,640, which was HRK 72 or 1.26 per cent less than for August, according to figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS) on Monday.

Compared with September 2014, the average net monthly salary was HRK 198 or 3.64 per cent higher, mostly owing to changes to the income tax rates at the start of the year.

The average gross monthly salary for September was HRK 7,945, which was HRK 113 or 1.4 per cent less than for August. Compared with September 2014, the average gross monthly salary had increased by HRK 125 or 1.6 per cent.
