Adriatic Gastro Show begins in Split

The international Adriatic Gastro Show opened in the biggest Croatian coastal city of Split, bringing together 542 exhibitors from 12 countries, and the event will run through 6 February.

Opening the fair, Split-Dalmatia County Prefect Zlatko Zevrnja said the show could help promote Dalmatian cuisine for tourist purposes.

Split Mayor Ivo Baldasar said that the Adriatic Gastro Show was important for the city.

A regional forum on family-run hotels and tourist facilities and EU funds will be held within the Adriatic Gastro Show on 5 February.
