Acting director announces raising public broadcaster's professionalism

Croatian Radio and Television (HRT) acting director-general Sinisa Kovacic said on Friday, after parliament appointed him, that the level of the public broadcaster's professionalism would be raised in order to make media reporting objective.

"I expect (HRT), as a public service, to continue to be open to all groups in society, but also to protect Croatia's national interest, Croatian identity and culture. We have a lot to do. I expect the entire staff to make an additional effort so that we can raise the level of professionalism, all for the purpose of making media reporting objective," Kovacic told HRT.
