8 Croat companies to attend Gamescom fair in Cologne

A total of eight Croatian companies specialised in developing computer games will take part in the 17-21 August Gamescom in Cologne.

Those eight companies -- Reboot, LGM Games, Iron Ward, Exordium Games, Gamepires, Croteam, 2X2 Games and Lion game Lion -- announced their participation at a news conference in the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) on Thursday.

"Some 1,000 exhibitors from 45 countries and 350,000 visitors are expected at this year's fair," the secretary of the Croatian ICT cluster, Ante Vrdelja, told a news conference.

He said Croatia had been admitted to the European Game Developers' Federation.
