16 teams from 10 countries participating in Startup Camp Rijeka

The Startup Camp Rijeka, a five-day mentoring programme designed to help develop startup proposals into viable businesses, began in the northern coastal city of Rijeka on Wednesday.

Over 60 teams from Croatia and abroad had applied for the fifth edition of the camp, and 16 teams from Croatia, Sweden, Greece, Serbia, Poland, Portugal, Lithuania, Georgia, Bulgaria and Azerbaijan have been selected for the event, which runs through 18 September.

Successful entrepreneurs and investors from Croatia and America will mentor and help participants to develop their business ideas into actual businesses.

The Startup Camp Rijeka is taking place at the Step Ri Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka.

According to data published by Step Ri, the previous four editions of the Startup Camp Rijeka have enabled 11 teams from various countries to raise over 2 million dollars for investment in their projects.
