100 exhibitors at Pula Boat Fair

The Pula Boat Fair 2016 international fair of boats and nautical equipment opened on Wednesday in the Veruda marina with about one hundred exhibitors from Croatia and abroad.

This year the fair marks the 160th anniversary of the Uljanik shipyard and will be opened until 14 October.

"Since its beginnings, the fair has endeavoured to position itself as an important event in southeast Europe," the fair's organiser Livio Bolkovic said while opening the fair.

Listing the fair's partners Bolkovic mentioned the partners from Switzerland, the ABB company, which is one of the largest manufacturers of turbines.

The event features exhibitors from the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey.
