Koncar Group earns HRK 29.4 mln in net profit

In the first quarter of 2016, the Koncar Group earned a net profit in the amount of HRK 29.4 million, of which HRK 5.6 belongs to minority interests and HRK 23.8 million to majority interests, the electrical, transport and energy company reported on Friday.

Pre-tax profits totalled HRK 37.6 million.

The group's consolidated sales revenues totalled HRK 618.9 million.

Operating revenues totalled 643.6 million, with revenues from the sale of products and services accounting for 96.2% of that amount.

The group's operating expenditure totalled HRK 610.3 million.

Revenues from domestic sales totalled HRK 366.5 million while revenues from foreign sales amounted to HRK 252.4 million.

The company's most important export markets were Germany (HRK 24.9 million), Italy (23.3 million), Sweden (20.5 million), Slovenia (14.7 million) and the Netherlands (12.5 million).

In the first quarter of this year, the Koncar Group signed deals for new jobs worth HRK 708.9 million.
