HPB Group's net profits rise 5.5 pct

The Croatian Postal Bank (HPB) Group netted HRK 47.8 million in profits in the first quarter of 2016, up 5.5 percent on the year, the bank said on Friday.

Net interest revenue was HRK 119.9 million, down 3% from Q1 2015. Household loans increased 4.7%, with housing loans going up 17.2%.

All members of the group operated at a profit after taxes, with the bank netting HRK 44.6 million.
