Geoinformatics company Gisdata penetrates Saudi Arabian market

The Gisdata geoinformatics company said on Thursday it had penetrated the Saudi Arabian market by inking a deal for licencing the GDi Vizion industrial software system.

The software has been successfully launched on European and global markets on multiple occasions and Saudi Arabia has chosen it as a platform for managing the Saudi National Fiber Network, the national backbone telecom network with 17,000 km of optical cables.

The contract in the first phase, including the services of local partners, is worth more than EUR 500,000, with room for growth in the following phases, Gisdata said in the press release.
