Ericsson Nikola Tesla, beCloud introducing LTE technology in Belarus regions

Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the beCloud company have launched the second phase of a project to introduce LTE technology in three regions in Belarus and the contract is worth more than HRK 76 million, Ericsson Nikola Tesla said on Monday.

In cooperation with beCloud, Ericsson Nikola Tesla will deliver and put into operation LTE network, as well as ensure related services in three Belarus regions.

Ericsson Nikola Tesla Management Board chair Gordana Kovacevic has expressed satisfaction that Belarus clients would gain access to advanced mobile technologies.

"Ericsson actively participates in LTE development, which is acknowledged by continuous improvements regarding the new possibilities this technology offers, thus responding to the needs of the growing number of users using smartphones and other smart communication devices. The significant experience of our experts and their dedicated work on LTE projects worldwide, is a guarantee that the citizens across Belarus will soon use many LTE advantages," she said in a statement.
