The mechanical engineering group Djuro Djakovic Grupa on Friday reported a 53% increase in revenue in the first half of 2016 compared with the same period of 2015 and a loss of HRK 10.9 million, which it said was within the plan.
The group earned HRK 272.1 million in revenue and reduced its loss from nearly HRK 34 million in the first half of 2015 to HRK 10.9 million in the first half of this year.
EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) was HRK 7.9 million.
In the second quarter of 2016, the group recorded a net profit of HRK 633,000, for the first time since the third quarter of 2012, compared with a loss of HRK 15.5 million in the first six months of 2015.
The group said it had managed to achieve most of its goals for the first half of the year. As of June 30, the group had HRK 656 million in signed contracts.
