Croatia's economic sentiment in November close to record level

In November, the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) in Croatia remained close to a record level and broadly stable in both the euro area and the European Union, according to a European Commission survey whose results were released on Friday.

Croatia's ESI in November was 124.5 points, slipping 0.1 points from the record level in October.

Industry confidence in Croatia increased 1.1 points to 3.8, consumer confidence increased 3 points to -16.7, and construction confidence increased 1.9 points to -15.4. On the other hand, retail trade confidence decreased 2.9 points to 10, and services confidence dropped 1.3 points to 16.4 after increasing 5 points in October.

The large majority of the survey results were collected before the Paris terror attacks on November 13, the report said.

The ESI in the EU28 dipped 0.1 points to 107.6.
