These companies  purchase around 20,000 tonnes of fresh fruit and vegetables a year, with a market value of more than HRK 50 million. The AgroFructus Group owns the largest state-of-the-art fresh fruit and vegetable distribution centre in Macedonia.

"With this acquisition, we will retain our position on the supply market, additionally increase capacities and expand our base for raw material. The expected effect will be to increase volumes as well as expanding to new markets," Agrofructus CEO Denis Matijevic said.

He added that the company planned to continue with its activities to continue focusing on the business of fresh and preserved fruit and vegetables through organic production as well as new acquisitions and green field investments.
