Adris Group's Q1-Q3 net profit up 8.2 pct

The net profit of the Adris Group, which consists of four components -- tourism, insurance, healthy food and real estate --  rose by 8.2% to HRK 559.6 million in the first nine months of 2015, compared to the corresponding period in 2014, the Group said in a press release on Friday.

In the first three quarters of 2015, the Adris Group's total revenues  came to HRK 8.3 billion, including 4.3 billion of revenues from the sales of commodities and services.

The group recalls that in late September, the British American Tobacco (BAT), one of the leading tobacco companies in the world, completed the acquisition of TDR d.o.o. and other tobacco and retail assets (“TDR”). Based on that purchase and sale agreement, along with TDR, BAT also acquired companies that used to form Adris tobacco strategic business unit – Istragrafika, Hrvatski duhani, retail chains iNovine and Opresa – and a stake in Tisak. After deducting TDR’s liabilities, the transaction was worth EUR 505 million.
