AD Plastik wins EUR 2.5 mln deal with Volkswagen

The Solin-based factory AD Plastik has reported having agreed cooperation with Volkswagen (VW), for which it will be making handles for four VW car makes, to be delivered to factories in Germany and Mexico.  

AD Plastik will be making handles for the Golf Variant, the Golf Sportsvan, the Touran and the Tiguan, the factory said in a statement.

The car parts will be manufactured in Solin, and the serial production will start in 2017.

The deal will bring AD Plastik 2.5 million euros over a period of a minimum four years.

The price of the AD Plastik stock on the Zagreb Stock Exchange rose on Friday morning by 2.6% to HRK 137 per share. It turned over HRK 104,480.
