Ministers satisfied with Croatia and Bosnia police cooperation

The law enforcement agencies of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia have developed excellent cooperation, as evidenced in the joint struggle against all types of cross-border crime, the two countries' ministers, Dragan Mektic and Vlaho Orepic, concluded at their meeting on Mount Jahorina overlooking Sarajevo on Tuesday.

Bosnian Security Minister Mektic and his Croatian counterpart Orepic held a closed-door meeting on the margins of a regional conference focusing on border security.

Orepic notified Mektic of Croatia's preparations for accession to the passport-free Schengen zone, according to a press release issued by the Bosnia-Herzegovina Security Ministry.
